Event Spotlight: Dr Young Library Dedication
Dr. James C. Young leaves an enduring legacy at 51成人动漫 and throughout the Kern Community College District. His visionary leadership shaped the district for over two decades, serving 21 years as Chancellor. During his tenure, he worked tirelessly to expand educational access and opportunity for students across Kern County and beyond.
Dr. Young was instrumental in the refurbishment of the 51成人动漫 sports stadium and oversaw the addition of new campuses in Mammoth and Bishop. His lifelong commitment to the Arvin community was reflected in the opening of the Bakersfield College Arvin campus, where the library now proudly bears his name.
Through his dedication, integrity, and unwavering belief in the power of education, Dr. Young advanced the mission of 51成人动漫 and the Kern Community College District, ensuring that generations of students would benefit from his leadership and vision.
