Former / Returning Students
Step 1
Update Your Information
If you're a former student and have stopped attending 51³ÉÈ˶¯Âþ for more than one year, you will need to enroll as a new student and reapply to the college.
If it has been less than one year since you last attended and you have a BC student number and student email you may complete the update form online by logging in to . From the MyBanWeb menu at the top of the screen, choose Update Form.
Step 2
Join an Orientation
If you haven't attended an orientation yet, we strongly encourage you to participate before placement. You can complete the Online Orientation at your convenience!
Step 3
Meet with a Counselor or Advisor
Placement is important if you want to:
- Take English, Math, or other classes with prerequisites
- Earn a degree or certificate
- Transfer to another institution
Your placement will be based on your high school records or through self-guided placement. For more details, check out our Placement page.

Register for Classes

Priority Registration
Want to register early for the upcoming semester? Here's how:
- Enroll in an Educational Planning course and complete your Student Educational Plan (SEP).
- Finish all matriculation components, including orientation, placement, and counseling.
If you're on disqualification, please meet with a counselor.
Students who were registered by the third week of classes will receive early registration appointments for the following semester, in this order:
- Students in specific groups or programs who have completed matriculation.
- Students who have completed orientation, placement, counseling, and have an SEP on file, sorted by the number of units completed. (Note: those with 45 to 68 units will get priority.)
- High school seniors who have completed the early registration process.
Important: Students who have already earned a degree at 51³ÉÈ˶¯Âþ will register after those with 45-60 units.
