Use this option if a student has already scheduled their accommodated exam. 

Steps:

1. Receive Notification
   1. You will receive an email notification once a student schedules an exam with accommodations.
2. Log into the DSPS Faculty Portal
   1. Use the link provided in the email or go directly to the .
3. Locate the Exam Request
   1. Find the student鈥檚 scheduled exam under 鈥淐ourses" and 鈥淭ests and Exams鈥�
4. Confirm/Edit Exam
   1. Identify the exams requested and select 鈥淐onfirm/Edit鈥� to review the request
5. Test/Exam Information\
   1. Enter the exam date, and originally scheduled start and end time.
6. Acknowledge Receipt
   1. Review and acknowledge the list of students who have submitted exam requests
7. Provide Additional Test Information
   1. Identify last date student may take the test, location of test, delivery method, permitted exam aides, other special instructions for the Testing Center, and return method.
   2. Upload the exam file (if available).
8. Confirm Submission
   1. Review and confirm the details and 鈥淪ubmit Changes.鈥� You may receive a confirmation email once submitted.

Use this option if you want to submit exam details in advance for all students who may schedule an exam. 

Steps: 

1. Log into the DSPS Faculty Portal
2. Identify Course
   1. Under "Courses" identify the proper term and course for the exam and select "Tests and Exams"
3. Initiate Exam Details
   1. Provide the date of the exam under 鈥淭ell us about an upcoming test鈥�
4. Test/Exam Information
   1. Enter the exam date, and originally scheduled start and end time.
5. Provide Additional Test Information
   1. Identify last date student may take the test, location of test, delivery method, permitted exam aides, other special instructions for the Testing Center, and return method.
   2. Upload the exam file (if available).
6. Confirm Submission
   1. Review and confirm the details and 鈥淪ubmit Changes.鈥� You may receive a confirmation email once submitted.

For online courses it is the responsibility of the instructor to add the extended time to the online portal (e.g., Canvas). The Testing Center cannot access Canvas.
